H-B MORTAR TRAP

We Stock H-B Mortar Trap in 1" & 2" widths. Sold in 100 LF Boxes.

NOTE: When Mortar Trap™ is used with the Quadro-Vent Weep Hole additional insect screening is not required.

Mortar Trap is manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) strands woven into a 90% open mesh. Its unique shape breaks up mortar droppings and prohibits mortar from creating a moisture retaining barrier, allowing water to flow freely to the weep holes. The 90% open mesh construction allows unobstructed passage of air & water through the material itself so walls breathe, drain & dry quicker.

Will not react with common building products (PVC, polystyrene, copper, rubberized-asphalt, lead, stainless or galvanized metal.
Will not absorb or trap moisture, support mold or fungus, and is inedible to insects.
Will not degrade as a result of temperature variations and is designed to last for the life of the building.
Keeps weep holes open - catches and permanently suspends mortar droppings so blockage can't occur.
Fast, easy installation by masons- does not require fasteners or adhesives, no special skills or tools.
Slightly compressible to allow for cavity variations in the field.

ENVIRO-BARRIER™ is a single component, fluid applied, elastomeric membrane to provide an air, water and vapor barrier when applied to above grade wall assemblies. It cures to form a resilient, monolithic, fully adhered membrane which resists air leakage and water penetration plus acts as a vapor barrier. Complies with NFPA 285 in various wall assemblies.

X-Seal® Membrane is a self-Sealing, self-adhering detail tape designed to work in conjunction with ENVIRO-BARRIER™ system. X-Seal® Membrane provides a durable seal around doors and windows and can be used to seal joints, seams, holes and other undesirable openings in wall systems. It resists the elements with unfailing performance and prohibits harsh environmental conditions from invading a structure.

GALVANIZED WIRE LATH

We stock Galvanized Wire Lath in 27" x 96" sheets. Sold in bundles of 10 sheets or 250 sheet (25 bundles) per pallet.

We also carry Lath Accessories such as Corner Beads, Casing Beads, Control Joints and Weep Screed in both metal and plastic types.

MORTAIRVENT- RAINSCREEN

Mortairvent is a two-ply mortar deflection and ventilation system that had been specifically designed for use with stone veneers, stucco, EIFS and brick. By installing the Mortairvent® two-ply system, a ventilation cavity is created between the vapor barrier and exterior wall. The blue polymer core mesh creates the airspace, while the filter fabric blocks mortar droppings from seeping into this newly formed cavity, while allowing moisture to pass through. This product is installed over the Air/Vapor Barrier (can usually just be stapled) prior to Lath installation. Sold in 200 SQ/FT Rolls.
